go to class info

Who should go?
Do you have a mountain bike? Would you like to become a better rider? Be stronger? Ride with more confidence? Have more fun? Then YOU should go! No matter your level, there is something for everyone.

What do they have to say about it?
“I am so glad that I took this class! I am much faster and not as afraid going down. I can climb hills that I never thought I could do. Really, I am just having a lot more fun! “ Beth H.

“This class didn’t just help my riding skills. Learning what tools I needed and how to quickly fix my bike saved me a long walk back when I flatted a week after the class. It would have been dark before I got back to my car if I had not learned how to do it right and do it fast!” Jason L.

“Amy changed my tire pressure for my weight and it instantly improved my riding – it was amazing. I hadn’t known how important something like that could be.” Steve R.

“I honestly came here feeling like I might not even survive it… a pro rider and ME? But Amy made us all feel so relaxed and it was a blast. I left feeling like I could ride anything (well, almost…)!” Jessica B.

How does it work?
First, Amy will check your bike to be sure it is adjusted properly and you have the correct tire pressure for your body size. A major factor in your ability to ride well starts a proper set up. Then you’ll learn and practice “basic trail repairs”, including the best way to change a tire or adjust a cable on the trail.

After that you’ll head out on the trails in a totally fun atmosphere to work on basic, but necessary skills and techniques. Along the way, Amy will be giving tips and info on cardio and strength training, bike equipment, places to ride and nutrition advice! Plan on about 3 hours or so, with approximately 1 hour for repair review and 2 hours of riding.

Here it is again:

  • Bike Set Up: saddle height, tire pressure, etc.
  • Tools for the Trail: list and description of the necessary tools to carry on a ride
  • Basic Trail Repair: demonstration and hands-on (extra tools and tubes available for practice and/or purchase)
  • On-Trail Skills Training: washes, rocks, rubble, uphills, downhills, snakes (!) etc.

Current Dates / Times: Held by request, private or group

Cherry bombin’ wear now at rage

cherryRage is proud to announce that we’re carrying Cherry Bombin’ products, the coolest recycled bike tube wear!  Cherry Bombin’ wear products are all designed & created using recycled bicycle inner-tubes. Why bicycle tubes? Well for 1: they are being reused instead of being buried into the earth and for 2: factory leather production is toxic to the environment and supports animal cruelty!  Rubber doesn’t decompose; it is durable, & waterproof! Reusing these bicycle tubes also promotes the minimization of consumption and waste, helping to ‘reduce your footprint.’ Cherry Bombin’ wear products prove that you can continue to have fresh gear while investing your monies responsibly, supporting small business based on sustainability!

Cherry Bombin’ wear designs consist of a variety of wallets, wrist band/cuffs, belts, pocket books, purses, messenger bags, and even clothing!  Custom ordering is also available. All creations are one of a kind and are pieced together from scratch. The process is long and vigorous, guaranteeing quality craftsmanship and longevity. Cherry Bombin’ wear designs and patterns are original and created by Angela Riccobono.  Thank you for supporting small sustainable businesses!
