Things are starting to wind up for 2010! We are planning a demo weekend for sat march 6th and sun march 7th. Plans are not yet totally solid, but expect to be able to throw your legs over a titus on sat and then a rocky mountain sun! Tentative plans are meeting here at the shop to grab a bike and get all set up then have us shuttling you over to papago for a couple laps. Then back to the shop for drinks and BBQ! More info and final plans to come very soon!!

Amy Regan, for a mountain biking day that will instantly make you a better rider!
“Climb better, descend with confidence, and learn how to change a flat tire in less than 2 minutes…really!”
Who should go?
Do you have a mountain bike? Would you like to become a better rider? Be stronger? Ride with more confidence? Have more fun? Then YOU should go! No matter your level, there is something for everyone.
What do they have to say about it?
“I am so glad that I took this class! I am much faster and not as afraid going down. I can climb hills that I never thought I could do. Really, I am just having a lot more fun! “ Beth H.
“This class didn’t just help my riding skills. Learning what tools I needed and how to quickly fix my bike saved me a long walk back when I flatted a week after the class. It would have been dark before I got back to my car if I had not learned how to do it right and do it fast!” Jason L.
“Amy changed my tire pressure for my weight and it instantly improved my riding – it was amazing. I hadn’t known how important something like that could be.” Steve R.
“I honestly came here feeling like I might not even survive it… a pro rider and ME? But Amy made us all feel so relaxed and it was a blast. I left feeling like I could ride anything (well, almost…)!” Jessica B.
How does it work?
First, Amy will check your bike to be sure it is adjusted properly and you have the correct tire pressure for your body size. A major factor in your ability to ride well starts a proper set up. Then you’ll learn and practice “basic trail repairs”, including the best way to change a tire or adjust a cable on the trail.
After that you’ll head out on the trails in a totally fun atmosphere to work on basic, but necessary skills and techniques. Along the way, Amy will be giving tips and info on cardio and strength training, bike equipment, places to ride and nutrition advice! Plan on about 3 hours or so, with approximately 1 hour for repair review and 2 hours of riding.
